Personalised tools to help Lawyers and Support staff

 


These are a collection of personalised Intranet pages. They are of use both to Lawyers and Support staff and provide the following benefits:

Your own Outlook tasks (or diary) can be viewed at the same time as seeing your Axxia task list. This allows you to see your complete workload for the day / week.

Intranet pages allow the Lawyer to see "listings" of matters, bills, case activities, clients, etc. and has facilities to sort and filter the information in different ways. It is therefore far more flexible than paper reports, is "instant" and can be printed out if needed.

In this area one facility that is massively used is the ability to list all your own matters in descending WIP or Disbursement sequence - this helps know which matters to bill. Other enquiries which have proved popular include:

  • Listing matters by last time activity to identify matters where nothing has happened and which need attention
  • Listing Unpaid bills over x days old to see bills that need chasing
  • Listing Case Activities, filtering by critical task.
  • Seeing all the above by Personal Responsibility or looking across all matters where you are the primary Lawyer or Supervising Partner or Client Partner.
